Marcos Jr. joined Muslim communities in the country and across the globe in observing Eid\u2019l Adha, or the Feast of Sacrifice, urging Filipinos to embody the values of unity, compassion, and selflessness in fostering a more inclusive and compassionate Bagong Pilipinas.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>In his message posted on Wednesday, the President encouraged Filipinos to carry the spirit of Eid\u2019l Adha beyond the festivities through acts of generosity, compassion, and inclusivity, and expressed hope that the sacred occasion would inspire deeper reflection and strengthen the shared values that bind the nation together.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cIn the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate and the Most Merciful, I join our Muslim brothers and sisters around the world in observing Eid\u2019l Adha, the Feast of Sacrifice,\u201d President Marcos said.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cMay this sacred observance inspire deeper reflection and renew our commitment to the values that bind us together as one people and one nation. Let us carry the spirit of Eid\u2019l Adha into our daily lives and offer our own acts of generosity in building a more compassionate and inclusive Bagong Pilipinas,\u201d the President added.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Reflecting on the story of Prophet Ibrahim, President Marcos said the sacred occasion also serves as a reminder of unwavering faith, complete submission to Allah\u2019s will, and trust in a purpose greater than ourselves.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cIt calls us to look beyond our personal desires and to recognize that true fulfillment is found in obedience, humility, and devotion,\u201d the President said.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The President further emphasized that Eid\u2019l Adha carries a timeless message for people of all faiths and backgrounds: \u201cthat sacrifice, when offered with sincerity and love, becomes a source of profound strength.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The President said the occasion teaches us that anything surrendered for what is just and noble is never lost, but is instead transformed into blessings that enrich homes, strengthen communities, and uplift shared humanity.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Through selflessness, the President said, bridges of understanding are built, divisions are healed, and a more just society is created.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The President then concluded his message by extending his warm greetings to the Muslim community: \u201cEid Mubarak!\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PRESIDENT Ferdinand R.
