Col. Timothy Aniway, the babysitter reported to the Station Women and Children&#8217;s Concerns Section (SWCCS) on the night of May 30, 2026, claiming that the infant had been abducted by two unidentified men from their residence in Bgy. Pasong Putik Proper.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Authorities conducted a follow-up investigation, including CCTV backtracking and verification of the suspect\u2019s statement.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Police said that based on the CCTV footages, no men entered the apartment.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Officers then proceeded to the apartment. The suspect initially hesitated to open the door but later complied.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Police smelled a foul odor from inside the house and immediately conducted a search until they found on the second floor of the apartment a sako bag containing the baby\u2019s body inside.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Investigators said the suspect\u00a0 later admitted killing the child by banging the infant\u2019s head into the pavement before placing the body in a sako bag.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The nanny told probers that she became irritated\u00a0 of the baby\u2019s continuous crying and inflicted physical harm on the child. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The baby\u2019s mother is an overseas Filipino worker while the father is in the province when the incident happened. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The suspect was immediately placed under arrest and informed of her constitutional rights. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A complaint for murder has already been filed against her before the Quezon City Prosecutor\u2019s Office.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cWalang puwang ang pang-aabuso dito sa Quezon City lalo na sa mga batang walang kalaban-laban. Mariin nating kinokondena ang ganitong karahasan. Ang pagkakahuli dito sa suspect ay patunay na hindi kailanman makakapagtago sa batas ang sinumang nagkasala, Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director Brig. Gen.
