OPERATIVES of the Regional Highway Patrol Unit 4A under the supervision of RHPU 4A chief Col. Rommel C. Estolano have hauled to jail two motorcycle thieves in Bauan, Batangas.<\/p>\n

Arrested were Alex Mariano and Edison Dalman.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The arrest of the suspects was a result of the intensified operations by the RHPU 4A against carnapping in Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) region.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Joint members of the Philippine Highway Patrol Team Batangas and the Bauan Municipal Police Station led by Capt. German Jones under PHPT- Batangas provincial officer Maj. Jason Sto. Domingo launched the operation.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Prior to the arrest of Mariano and Dalman, the owner of the Yamaha Mio 125 motorcycle reported that his motorbike parked in Bgy. Durungao, Bauan, Batangas was stolen.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The suspects were last seen fleeing towards the nearby Bgy. Inicbulan.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Personnel of the RHPU 4A and the local police immediately conducted pursuit operation that resulted in the capture of the suspects and the recovery of the stolen motorbike.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Charges for violation of Republic Act 10883 or the New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016. were filed against the arrested suspects.<\/p>\n
