Tukanakuden, Sultan sa Barongis, Maguindanao del Sur, was shot dead by two armed men on the national highway in Bgy. Tinumigues, Lambayong at 5:20 p.m. on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>According to Lambayong town police chief Maj. Jethro Doligas, the victim was traveling on a motorcycle when ambushed.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>An investigation showed the suspects flagged down Kapusan on the isolated road of Sultan sa Barongis-Lambayong highway before shooting him to death.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>The gunmen fled after the killing.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Responding militiamen rushed the head teacher to the nearest hospital, where he was declared dead on arriva.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>POLICE are hunting down the killers of a school head teacher in Maguindanao Sur.
