THE Philippine National Police on Friday said that the result on the DNA test conducted on the hair and blood samples found in an abandoned vehicle in Batangas City will be the main key in solving the case of missing Miss Grand Philippines 2023 bet Catherine Camilon.<\/p>\n

PNP spokesperson Col. Jean S. Fajardo said the DNA test being conducted by the PNP Forensics Group will determine if the specimen tested really belong to the missing beauty queen.<\/p>\n

The official said that a match between the samples and Camilon\u2019s family would strengthen the case against the suspects.<\/p>\n

The PNP spokesperson added that a \u201cperson of interest\u201d in the missing beauty queen\u2019s case, Maj. Allan de Castro, has already apologized to PNP chief Gen. Benjamin C. Acorda Jr. for dragging the name of the police force in his personal affairs.<\/p>\n

De Castro, a PNP Academy graduate, has chosen to stay quiet and face his charges.<\/p>\n
