Andres Sumugat said the Mindanao Star Bus was traveling from Cotabato City to Davao City when the incident happened.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Witnesses said the bus suddenly caught fire upon reaching Bgy. South Manuangan around 9:30 a.m. Saturday.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>The driver, his conductor, and all the 20 passengers were all safe.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Initial investigation showed mechanical error started the fire.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>An investigation is underway.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A PASSENGER bus on Saturday caught fire in Pigcawayan, North Cotabato.
