THE Philippine National Police (PNP) has assured a 100 percent support for the Marcos administration.<\/p>\n

PNP spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo, during a news forum in Quezon City on Saturday, issued the statement when asked for comment about rumors of an alleged brewing destabilization plot.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Former president Rodrigo Duterte earlier said that the military and the police are closely watching the political developments at the House of Representatives amid the allegedly emerging alliance between Speaker Martin Romualdez and ACT Teachers Party-list Rep. France Castro.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
“Wala pong dahilan ang PNP as an institution \u2014 as an organization \u2014 para lumahok sa mga napapabalitang destabilization efforts dahil maganda ang itinatakbo ng ating organisasyon,” Fajardo said.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u201cMaganda ang itinatakbo ng ating ekonomiya so there is no reason for the PNP to join any effort to destabilize this administration,” she added.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n
Fajardo further said: \u201cOn the part of the PNP, hindi tayo makikilahok sa anumang attempt na i-destabilize itong ating government. Bagama\u2019t sabi ko nga, ang PNP ay nakahanda para i-defend ang security at sovereignty ng ating bansa but these political issues, sana ay huwag na masama pa ang PNP.\u201d<\/p>\n

She reiterated that the National Police is 100 percent behind the Marcos administration.<\/p>\n

During his SMNI program on Wednesday, Duterte said Congress should be sensitive to the sentiments of the military and the police.<\/p>\n
