{"id":2514,"date":"2023-11-28T09:51:00","date_gmt":"2023-11-28T01:51:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/journaldailynewsonline.com.ph\/?p=2514"},"modified":"2023-12-20T09:53:36","modified_gmt":"2023-12-20T01:53:36","slug":"blacklisted-chinese-nabbed-at-naia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/journaldailynewsonline.com.ph\/index.php\/2023\/11\/28\/blacklisted-chinese-nabbed-at-naia\/","title":{"rendered":"BLACKLISTED CHINESE NABBED AT NAIA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>IMMIGRATION officers on Sunday arrested a blacklisted Chinese national at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Bureau of Immigration (BI) officers identified the man as Zhou Xingxing, 31, who attempted to depart for Guangzhou, China.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Zhou was found to be the subject of a January 2023 order to leave from the BI for overstaying, and working for an online gaming company with an expired Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) license.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Upon arrest, Zhou was turned over to the BI\u2019s Border Control and Intelligence Unit for processing. Subsequently, he was handed over to the Legal Division to undergo booking procedures.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>He will be transferred to the BI Warden Facility situated inside Camp Bagong Diwa in Bicutan, Taguig and will remain in custody pending the implementation of his deportation.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>BI Commissioner Norman Tansingco reiterated the BI\u2019s unwavering commitment to upholding Philippine immigration laws.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Bureau remains vigilant and steadfast in ensuring that individuals complying with our laws are welcomed, while those who violate our regulations are held accountable,\u201d Tansingco said.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>IMMIGRATION officers on Sunday arrested a blacklisted Chinese national at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3.
