QUEZON Gov. Angelina “Doktora Helen” Tan urged the Quezon Police Provincial Office (QPPO) to sustain a peace and order situation for the province to attract more foreign and local investments and tourists.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The female Quezon governor made her appeal during last Monday\u2019s “New Year’s Call” by the QPPO headed by provincial director Col. Ledon Monte held at the provincial capitol building, marking the start of the year with a renewed commitment to a more peaceful and progressive province.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The event started with an invocation led by Pastor Ramel Porto, the MBK provincial coordinator, followed by an audio-visual presentation highlighting the operational and administrative accomplishments of the Quezon police force.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Tan hailed all the chiefs of police of the province’ 39 municipalities and two cities for exerting their best efforts in making Quezon a better place to live in, work and do business.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n She also urged the Quezon police to continue their diligent work in creating a safe and secure environment.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Tan, chair of the Regional Peace and Order Council in Calabarzon region, stressed that a peaceful province magnets business investments and tourists.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n She also emphasized the importance of making the province business-friendly to stimulate economic activities and generate more job opportunities.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Monte thanked the governor for her full and all- out support to the QPPO and vowed to keep doing his best in their anti- criminality campaign and maintain their partnership with the local government units and other national government agencies.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" QUEZON Gov.
