THOUSANDS of Bi\u00f1anenses on Friday (February 2, 2024) joined the celebration of the city\u2019s 14th<\/sup> charter anniversary.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Mayor Walfredo \u201cArman\u201d R. Dimaguila Jr. and Vice Mayor Gel Alonte led the grand parade in the city plaza, which was joined by the people of <\/strong>Bi\u00f1an, students, government employees, policemen, firefighters, and other stakeholders.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The parade was followed by the inauguration of the PUP-<\/strong>Bi\u00f1an College of Information Technology and Engineering (CITE) building in Bgy. Canlalay\u00a0\u00a0for senior high school students.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In a press conference, Dimaguila highlighted the accomplishments of his administration, including the construction of the PUP-<\/strong> Bi\u00f1an CITE,<\/strong> the provision of internet connection to 9,000 households that would greatly help the <\/strong>Bi\u00f1an<\/strong>enses, particularly the students, and the giving of financial grants to qualified enrollees of the city.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Dimaguila also initiated the putting up of television in all classrooms in the city\u2019s public schools, which he said would help teachers in educating their students.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The mayor also mentioned other accomplishments such as the Binan City Science and Technology solar energy facility, and the acquisition of lands for the planned Bi\u00f1an City government hub.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

Dimaguila also reported that he signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Batangas Medical Center, making it the 4th hospital for the <\/strong>Health Assistance Program for Indigent Families (HAPI) <\/strong>HAPI Card accreditation of the Bi\u00f1anenses.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The other three are the Bi\u00f1an Doctors, Perpetual Help Hospital and Ospital ng Bi\u00f1an.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the city is also celebrating its <\/strong>79th Liberation Day and 277th Foundation Anniversary.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n
