A POLICEMAN who was slapped and kicked by a female motorist during a traffic altercation in Imus City, Cavite last February 5 was given recognition by the National Police Commission 4A (Calabarzon) on Monday.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The recognition was made during a flag-raising ceremony held at the new Imus City Hall in Bgy. Malagasang 1-G in Imus City.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Police Staff Sergeant Philip Andrew Garingo of the Imus City Component Police was awarded a Certificate of Commendation after a viral video, where he can be seen being slapped and kicked by an unruly female driver.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Garingo remained calm despite being hurt by the woman.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n National Police Commission (Napolcom) acting regional director attorney Owen De Luna, Imus City Mayor Alex \u201cAA\u201d Advincula, Vice Mayor Homer Saquilayan and Imus City police chief Lt. Col.
