PRESIDENT Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is expected to meet with major companies in Germany and Czech Republic wanting to take advantage of the Philippines\u2019 continuing impressive economic performance and conducive economic investment environment.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cDuring the President\u2019s time in Germany and the Czech Republic, the President will focus on bolstering trade and investment opportunities in the Philippines, inviting German and Czech companies to increase their presence in the country,\u201d Assistant Secretary Maria Elena Algabre of the Department of Foreign Affairs-Office of European Affairs said in a press briefing in Malaca\u00f1ang.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cThe President will also attend business forums in both countries participated in by prominent business leaders,\u201d Algrabre said.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n According to Algabre, there are meetings with companies that are interested in renewable energy, manufacturing, healthcare, aerospace and innovation.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Aside from companies wanting to invest, the Philippines is also looking for increased labor tie up with the two European nations.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cSa Germany po, iba-iba iyong kanilang mga \u2026 aside from the health workers, mayroon sa mga IT, sa manufacturing also and, of course, we have those who have made Germany their home,\u201d Algabre said.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cNagpunta doon, they met their family, they build their family there.
