THE House of Representatives has approved on third and final reading a measure establishing a regular and permanent campus of the Pampanga State University in San Fernando City.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n San Fernando City is the capital of Pampanga province.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Senior Deputy Speaker and Pampanga Rep. Aurelio \u201cDong\u201d Gonzales Jr., author of House Bill 9988, said the measure was passed with the support of Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cI and our Kabalen will be eternally grateful to our good Speaker for supporting us in trying to expand the oldest school in our province so it can offer quality education,\u201d Gonzales said.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cSpeaker Martin is one of us Pampangue\u00f1os, his mother, Madam Juliette Gomez-Romualdez, being from Mabalacat City,\u201d he said.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n He said Romualdez also supported the renaming of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) to Pampanga State University.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n At present, the province\u2019s oldest technical-vocational school has campuses in the towns of Bacolor, Mexico, Porac, Sto.
