ALEJO S. SANTOS, City of Malolos, Bulacan \u2014 Two suspected hijackers on Saturday were killed in a shootout with the police in Bgy. Sampaloc, San Rafael, Bulacan.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Police identified one <\/strong><strong>of the fatalities as Marlon Bautista, 44, of Cauayan, Isabela,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Based on a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. by Bulacan police director Col. Relly Arnedo, two men were also rescued \u2013 the 39-year-old truck driver and his 37-year-old male helper.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>The victims were found handcuffed and blindfolded inside the truck, along with two cal. .45 pistols.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>According to Arnedo, they were informed &nbsp;about a trailer truck carrying 40 tons of corn with discrepancies in the driver&#8217;s identity and the intended destination.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Responding cops arrived in Bgy.
