THE local government unit of Noveleta Cavite under Mayor Dino Chua and Rural Health Unit head Dr. Maria Hilda Bucu launched a vaccination drive to prevent babies in the town get infected with pertussis or whooping cough.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n This despite of no reported pertussis cases in Noveleta.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Free vaccination for babies were coducted at the Out-Patient Department (OPD) of the Pagamutang Bayan ng Noveleta.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Healthcare personnel, in collaboration with the Barangay Health Workers (BHW), also went house-to-house to inoculate infants below two-years-old against pertussis.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The team started their vaccination drive in Bgy.
