A FOUR-YEAR-OLD boy on Monday died after he fell from the 27th floor of a condominium in Bgy. Lahug, Cebu City.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The victim\u2019s mother told probers that she left her two children sleeping in the bedroom, including the four-year-old boy, to make coffee.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n When the mother returned, the boy was no longer in the bedroom. She immediately looked for her son. <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The mother was told that someone fell from the upper floor of the building, who was later confirmed to be her child.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Authorities theorized the boy went to the balcony and climbed before falling to his death.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Police investigation showed that the boy’s body hit a canopy on the third floor before falling to the floor near the swimming pool.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The child was rushed to the hospital but doctors declared him dead upon arrival.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The condominium management expressed their deepest condolences to the family of the child.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n “We are committed to conducting a thorough review of the incident and implementing any necessary measures to prevent similar occurrences in the future,” the management said.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The boy’s father is an overseas worker.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n An investigation is ongoing.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" A FOUR-YEAR-OLD boy on Monday died after he fell from the 27th floor of a condominium in Bgy.
