Show your support for local farmers as they will proudly showcase various array of agricultural products, including fresh and quality vegetables, fruits, and rice priced at P39 per kilo! See you at the nearest KNP!\u201d according to another posting this month.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Department of Agriculture (DA) has invited Metro Manila residents to grab the opportunity and avail of the products sold at the KNP that runs this month in the National Capital Region (NCR).<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The KNP is open to the public on April 16-17, 2024, at the Employees Park in Taguig City Hall; People\u2019s Park along McArthur Highway, Malinta, Valenzuela City; and Manila City Hall Inner Court, Antonio Villegas St., Ermita.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n On April 19, KNP will be open at ROMVI Subdivision covered court in Barangay Moonwalk, Paranaque City, and on April 20. Various products will be available at Camella Homeowners Association, Barangay Merville, also in Para\u00f1aque.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n As of April 15 sales summary report, Kadiwa organizers posted total sales of P2.9 million from various locations in Metro Manila.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Rice was the most sought-after commodity. In Barangay Central in Quezon City, total rice sales amounted to P519,675 while in Barangay Addition Hills in Mandaluyong City, total rice sales reached P1.5 million.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n In Barangay Sta. Rosa, Pasig City, rice sales was at P248,625; Barangay Dulong Bayan, San Jose del Monte City, Bulacan, P201,825; Navotas City Hall, Central Park, P74,100; and Grace Park East, Caloocan City Hall, P97,500.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The program is the government\u2019s initiative to provide a \u201clifeline\u201d by granting rent-free selling areas to farmers and micro, small and medium enterprise (MSMEs), ensuring equitable access to fresh produce, said the agency.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The KNP is organized by the DA, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Presidential Management Service (PMS) and the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) serve as the guiding arm of the KNP, which is a project of President Ferdinand R.
