SINGLE parents can avail of free rides on the LRT-2 and MRT-3 on Saturday, April 20 as the country marks Solo Parents’ Day.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n In separate posts on Facebook, the operators of LRT-2 and MRT-3 said the free ride service will start at 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m..<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Those who want to avail of the free ride would only need to present a valid solo parent ID or Solo Parent Certificate of Eligibility.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n “Tayo po sa LRTA, batid natin ‘yung bigat ng responsibilidad ng mga solo parent. Kaya naman sa pagdiriwang na ito, sana maiparamdam ng LRTA ang aming paghanga at pasasalamat sa inyo sa pamamagitan po ng handog naming libreng sakay,\u201d said LRTA administrator attorney Hernando Cabrera.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n “Saludo po ang MRT-3 sa lahat ng solo parents na ubod-lakas na nagsasakripisyo upang maitaguyod ang kanilang mga anak. Hangad po namin na sa aming libreng sakay ay mapasaya namin sila sa kanilang espesyal na araw. Sana po ay maipadama namin sa lahat ng solo parents ang aming paghanga at pagpapahalaga sa kanilang mga sakripisyo,\u201d Transportation Assistant Secretary for Railways and MRT-3 officer-in-charge Jorjette B.
