BY KEVIN GALANG<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga \u2013 Police arrested eight drug suspects and seized more than P1.7-million worth of shabu in separate anti-illegal drugs operations in Pampanga on May 1 and 2.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., Angeles City Police Director Col. Amado Mendoza launched anti-illegal drug operations in Bgy. Ninoy Aquino, Angeles City resulting in the arrest of alias \u201cGio\u201d and alias \u201cRJ.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Confiscated were 70 grams of suspected shabu worth P476,000, a cal..38 revolver loaded with two live bullets, the marked money, seven fake P1,000 bills, and a motorcycle.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Angeles City Drug Enforcement Unit (ACDEU) and the Police Station 3 nabbed alias \u201cAte\u201d in an entrapment operation in Bgy. Cutud.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cAte\u201d yielded 55 grams of shabu worth P374,000.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n In Mabalacat City, operatives launched a buy-bust operation in Bgy. Poblacion, which led to the arrest of alias “Bong,\u201d alias “Nog,” and alias “Meinando.”<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Seized from the suspects were eight transparent plastic sachets of shabu worth P380,800.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n An operation in Bgy. Dela Paz Sur, City of San Fernando on May 1 resulted in the capture of alias \u201cJonel\u201d and alias \u201cJerome\u201d and the confiscation of 70 grams of shabu worth P476,000.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n All suspects will be charged with violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cI commend our men for a job well done. This underscores our unwavering commitment to combatting illegal drugs, in alignment with the BIDA program of the DILG and the directives of PNP chief Gen.
