Loreto &#8220;Amben&#8221; Amante.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Amante said some P89-billion in the annual budget will be allotted for the purpose.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Included in the proposed measure are all senior citizens nationwide, not just indigents, in the current social pension program.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>According to Amante, if it becomes a law, all senior citizens who are not covered by the current pension program will receive a P500 social pension.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cWe are happy because all senior citizens will now be covered by social pension,\u201d Amante, <\/strong><strong>vice chairman of the Committee on Senior Citizens and member of the Committee on Appropriations, said.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>House Committee on Senior Citizens chairman and Senior Citizens party-list Rep.
