THE local government unit conducted the groundbreaking for a housing project for the residents of Imus City in Cavite.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n A total of 1.3 hectares of land located in Bgy. Malagasang 1-G, with proposed five midrise condo-type buildings, will be built in the area consisting of ten floors each or a total of 1,100 units.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Each unit has a size of 27 sqm and worth P1.8 million, which is payable within 30 years.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The housing project also include amenities such as a clubhouse and basketball court.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Government employees living in the city are the priority in the housing project.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development Secretary Jose Rizalino \u201cJerry\u201d L. Acuzar said the housing project in Imus is a fulfillment of the dream of President Ferdinand \u201cBong Bong\u201d Marcos Jr. to continue what his father, former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr., have started. to provide housing for poor Filipinos.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The project is also a vision of Imus City Mayor Alex \u201cAA\u201d Advincula to provide ordinary citizens a decent house of their own.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Also present in the groundbreaking rites were Eric Gregor Tan – general manager for Horizontal Developments, PH1 World Developers; Usec. Roland Samuel Young – Project Management Office; Usec. Garry V.
