BY KEVIN GALANG<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n A BARANGAY chairman and his driver on Tuesday were killed in ambush in San Fernando, Pampanga.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., the Pampanga police identified the victims as Mat Ryan Dela Cruz, 37, barangay chairman of Bgy. San Pedro, Cutud, San Fernando City, Pampanga; and Henry Aquino, driver, and a resident of Purok 4, Bgy. San Pedro, Cutud.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The ambush occurred at the Power Fill Fuel gas station in Bgy. Del Pilar, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The victims were in a red Montero with plate number WQC 788 driven by Aquino when they stopped at the gas station to refuel.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The unidentified suspects in a car suddenly arrived and opened fire at the victims, killing the village official and his driver on the spot.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The gunmen fled in a black Toyota Vios with plate number NCR 8489\/NCR6489 towards San Fernando proper.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Responding lawmen recovered at the crime scene cartridge cases for cal..45 and 5.56mm guns.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Police are pursuing the suspects.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" BY KEVIN GALANG A BARANGAY chairman and his driver on Tuesday were killed in ambush in San Fernando, Pampanga.
