TWENTY-ONE Filipino crew members of MV Tutor, who were rescued after a recent attack by Houthi rebels in the southern Red Sea, on Monday arrived safely in the Philippines.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The group left Bahrain, where they were ferried by a rescue United States Navy Ship, on Sunday.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Labor Attache Hector Cruz of the Migrant Workers Office (MWO) – Al Khobar accompanied the rescued seafarers who arrived at <\/strong>Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 via Golf Air flight GF 154 at exactly 11:10 a.m.<\/strong> Monday.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n One Filipino remained missing.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Before boarding the plane, Philippine Ambassador to Bahrain Anne Jalando-on Louis, MWO – Bahrain Officer-in-Charge Celia Cabadonga and welfare officer Dr. Amelito Adel Cruz gave the seafarers financial assistance of 192 Bahraini dinars or about P30,000.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Secretary Hans Cacdac, Health Secretary Ted Herbosa and Tingog Party-list Rep. Jude Acidre, \u00a0the House Committee on Overseas Workers Affairs chairman, met the seamen at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 in Pasay City.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The rescued seafarers will receive P230,000 each in immediate financial assistance from the DMW, Office of the House Speaker, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) and Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez and his wife, Tingog Party-list Rep.
