BY KEVIN GALANG<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga \u2013 Police on Wednesday arrested a 42-year-old man in a gun buy-bust operation in Floridablanca, Pampanga.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Pampanga police director Col. Jay C. Dimaandal reported to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. that the victim was identified as alias \u201cElias.\u201d<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The suspect was arrested by joint operatives of the Pampanga Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), Regional Intelligence Unit 3 (RIU3), 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), and the Floridablanca Municipal Police Station (MPS) while selling illegal firearms in Bgy. Bodega, Floridablanca.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Confiscated from the suspect were one cal. .38 revolver, one shotgun, one improvised cal. .22 long firearm, one fatigue green holster, one white sack ammunition for the shotgun, a cal. .38 caliber, and the marked and boodle money.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Alias \u201cElias\u201d will be charged with violation of Republic Act 10591<\/strong> <\/em><\/strong>or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition. Regulation Act.<\/em><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Hidalgo commended the joint efforts of the law enforcement units for the arrest of the suspect.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n “This operation underscores our commitment to eradicating illegal firearms in the region. The successful apprehension of the suspect and seizure of these dangerous weapons is a testament to the dedication and coordination of our police force.
