{"id":6790,"date":"2024-06-25T02:33:53","date_gmt":"2024-06-24T18:33:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/journaldailynewsonline.com.ph\/?p=6790"},"modified":"2024-06-25T02:33:54","modified_gmt":"2024-06-24T18:33:54","slug":"big-time-oil-price-hike-effective-june-25","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/journaldailynewsonline.com.ph\/index.php\/2024\/06\/25\/big-time-oil-price-hike-effective-june-25\/","title":{"rendered":"BIG-TIME OIL PRICE HIKE EFFECTIVE JUNE 25"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>OIL firms will implement <\/strong><strong>another hefty upward adjustment<\/strong><strong> starting Tuesday, &nbsp;June 25, 2024.<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>In separate advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti, Petro Gazz, PTT, Seaoil, Shell, and Unioil said they would increase gasoline prices by P1.40 per liter, and diesel prices by P1.75 per liter.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Caltex, Seaoil, and Shell will also increase kerosene prices by P1.05 per liter.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>This will be the second consecutive week that oil companies hike prices at the pump.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Industry experts said oil prices have increased in the global market on the back of geopolitical tensions, specifically Ukraine\u2019s drone strike that caused a fire in a major oil terminal in Russia, as well as the looming full-blown war between Israel and Lebanon\u2019s Hezbollah.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Last week, oil companies also implemented a big adjustment in fuel prices.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>OIL firms will implement another hefty upward adjustment starting Tuesday, &nbsp;June 25, 2024.
