STARTING Monday, July 1, 2024, toll collection via Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and cash transactions are temporarily suspended until July 30, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Thursday announced.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n President Marcos said on his official X account (formerly Twitter) that the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) approved the recommendation of the Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA) to suspend toll collection activities from July 1 to July 30, 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The TRB is composed of the Department of Transportation (DOTr), Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Department of Finance (DOF), National Economic Development Authority (NEDA), and the private sector.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cInaprubahan na ng Toll Regulatory Board na binubuo ng DOTr, DPWH, DOF, NEDA at pribadong sektor ang rekomendasyon na suspendihin ang pangongolekta ng toll \u2013 RFID at cash \u2013 sa lahat ng bahagi ng CAVITEX simula Hulyo 1 hanggang Hulyo 30 nitong taon,\u201d President Marcos said.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The President made the announcement Thursday afternoon on his official X account @bongbongmarcos.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cNagpapasalamat tayo sa TRB sa kanilang agarang aksyon sa rekomendasyon na ito ng PRA.
