THE Department of Social Welfare on Monday (July 8) signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with the <\/strong>Social Security System (SSS) for a low-cost insurance program for beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian and SSS president and chief executive officer (CEO) Rolando Macasaet signed the deal at the DSWD Auditorium in Central Office, Quezon City.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The MOA outlines the commitment of the DSWD to ensure that 4Ps beneficiaries are educated on the importance and benefits of the SSS membership and savings scheme and have access to low-cost social insurance.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cThe DSWD is fortunate to collaborate with the state-run SSS.
