AN Australian couple and their Filipina companion on Thursday were found dead inside a hotel in Tagaytay City.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Tagaytay City Police Station identified the victims as Australian national David James Fisk, 57; his Philippine-born Australian citizen wife Lucita Barquin Cortez, 55, and Mary Jane Cortez, 30, from Oriental Mindoro. <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Mary Jane is the daughter-in-law of Lucita.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The bodies of the victims were found inside a room of The Lake Hotel in Bgy Maharlika West, Tagaytay City at 12:30 p.m. Thursday.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Hotel staff Allan Manza told police that he went to Room 104 where the victims checked-in to remind them that it was their time to check-out.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Manza said that after several knocks, he received no response prompting him to open the door and found the victims lying face down and lifeless.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The hotel management immediately called the police.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n It was learned that the Australian couple were vacationing in the Philippines when slain.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Tagaytay Mayor Abraham \u201cBambol\u201d Tolentino expressed condolences to the families of the victims as he ordered the Tagaytay police to immediately solve the killings.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Cavite Police Provincial Office Director Col.
