FOURTEEN new transport network companies (TNCs) over the weekend were given the green light by the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) <\/strong> to operate in the country.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The LTFRB said this is on top of the five firms which operations have been renewed.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n According to LTFRB chairman Teofilo Guadiz III, the addition of the new TNCs is in line with their mandate to ensure that the riding public continues to benefit from advancements in transportation services.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n “Aside from the accreditation of these new TNCs, the LTFRB has also released new transport network vehicle service slots to support the expanding ride-hailing market.
