A BUSINESSWOMAN and her niece were found brutally murdered inside their condo unit in Imus City, Cavite, police on Saturday said.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The victims were identified as <\/strong>Aldena Tano Popelo, a 48-year-old trader, and her niece Jenelyn Salvador, 19, both residents of Villa Celestine Condominium, Do\u00f1a Dionisia Subdivision Gate 2, Bgy. Bayan Luma 2, Imus City, Cavite.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The two were found dead inside the bedroom of their condo unit.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Found at the crime scene was an ice pick believed used in the gruesome killing.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Investigation showed a sibling of Popelo wondered why she has not yet opened her stall at the Imus Public Market around 8 a.m. on Friday.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The sibling went to the victims\u2019 condo to check \u00a0and got worried upon seeing traces of blood from the main door.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The sibling rushed to the bedroom and was shocked to see the victims lifeless and with several stab wounds.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Prior to the gruesome find, t<\/strong>he neighbors in the adjacent unit told police that around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday they heard Popelo and her alleged live-in partner, a 60-year-old lesbian, quarreling.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The following day, the victims were found dead.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Police are eyeing jealousy as motive for the killing.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n A manhunt operation is ongoing to arrest the suspect.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" A BUSINESSWOMAN and her niece were found brutally murdered inside their condo unit in Imus City, Cavite, police on Saturday said.
