{"id":779,"date":"2023-09-18T00:51:00","date_gmt":"2023-09-17T16:51:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/journaldailynewsonline.com.ph\/?p=779"},"modified":"2023-12-16T00:54:36","modified_gmt":"2023-12-15T16:54:36","slug":"paf-to-receive-surveillance-plane-from-us","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/journaldailynewsonline.com.ph\/index.php\/2023\/09\/18\/paf-to-receive-surveillance-plane-from-us\/","title":{"rendered":"PAF TO RECEIVE SURVEILLANCE PLANE FROM US"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>BY LEX MANALO<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>The Philippine Air Force (PAF) is set to receive a brand-new Cessna C-20B &#8220;Grand Caravan&#8221; surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft from the United States in a ceremony to be held at the Clark Air Base in Mabalacat City, Pampanga Tuesday, September 12.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>National Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr. will be the guest of honor in the acceptance, turnover and blessing ceremonies of the C-208B, said the PAF advisory issued on Monday.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The C-208B aircraft is a grant from the US,&#8221; the PAF said.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Air Force officials said it will be the third C-208B to be given by US to PAF.
