BY KEVIN GALANG<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n CAM OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga \u2013 A day-long crackdown on illegal drugs resulted in the arrest of six suspects and the confiscation of some P1.3 million worth of shabu in a series of operations in Zambales, Angeles City and San Fernando City in Pampanga.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The first operation took place in Bgy. Calapacuan, Subic, Zambales that led to the arrest of alias “Tisoy” and alias “Nahi.”<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Subic police\u2019 Special Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU), in collaboration with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Zambales, Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU), Zambales Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), and the Zambales 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) seized from the duo 62.3 grams of shabu worth P423,640.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Meanwhile, the Angeles City Drug Enforcement Unit (ACDEU), in coordination with Police Station 2 (PS2), conducted an entrapment at Pampang Public Market in Bgy. Lourdes North West, Angeles City, and arrested alias “Brandon,” 23, a \u201chigh-value\u201d target.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Confiscated from alias \u201cBrandon\u201d were 65 grams of shabu worth P442,000.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n In another operation, the Pampanga Police Provincial Office\u2019s Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) and the San Fernando City police, in coordination with PDEA Region 3, launched a buy-bust at the New Public Market in Bgy. del Pilar, City of San Fernando, leading to the arrest of three suspects identified only in their aliases as “Asgar,” 31; “Janet,” 27; and “Jordan,” 34, who yielded 77 grams of shabu worth P523,600.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cThese achievements highlight the effectiveness of our intelligence-driven approach to curbing the drug supply.
