Marcos Jr. said on Wednesday.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cThe departure of Alice Guo has laid bare the corruption that undermines our justice system and erodes public trust,\u201d said the President.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cLet me be clear: Heads will roll,\u201d he stressed.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>President Marcos said the administration will be compelled to \u201cexpose the culprits who have betrayed the people\u2019s trust and aided\u201d in Guo\u2019s departure.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>He added that a full-scale investigation \u201cis already underway, and those responsible will be suspended and will be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cThere is no room in this government for anyone who places personal interest above serving the Filipino people with honor, integrity and justice,\u201d President Marcos said.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Office of the President (OP) has directed the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) to cancel the Philippine passports issued to Guo, her family, and a woman tied to a Philippine Online Gaming Operator (POGO).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Guo reportedly left the Philippines on July 18 using her Philippine passport.
