THE <\/strong>Quezon City government on Wednesday said it placed under quarantine at least 41 individuals who came into close contact with the country’s first mpox (monkeypox) patient.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Mayor Joy Belmonte, in a press conference, said the 33-year-old male patient, with no travel history, visited two establishments in E. Rodriguez, Quezon City.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n She said the Filipino patient went to a <\/strong>dermatology clinic and a massage spa along E. Rodriguez Avenue.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cHe is not a Quezon City resident.
