SHEILA Guo on Tuesday <\/strong>confirmed to senators that she, her sister, dismissed Bamban Mayor Alice Guo, and brother Wesley had fled the country by sea.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n “Sumakay po kami ng boat sa dagat,\u201d Sheila told the senators during the Senate <\/strong>hearing of the Committees on Justice and Human Rights; Women, Children, Family Relations and Gender Equality; and Public Services.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n She said they were fetched from their farm in Bamban, Tarlac by a van just after dinner around 7:08 p.m. before arriving at a port to board a small white boat around midnight.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Shiela further recalled that from a white boat, they transferred to a bigger vessel, then to a smaller boat that brought them to Sabah, Malaysia.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) said the Guo siblings fled the country without using any public port or they could have monitored their movement.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n “\u2019Yung sinasabi niya na bumiyahe sila ng 4-6 hours via bangka para papuntang Malaysia.
