BY KEVIN GALANG<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n THREE officers, including a police major, who were among the seven armed men who reportedly robbed a bussinessman at his house in Balagtas, Bulacan, on Thursday were arrested in a follow-up operation by the authorities.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., the Bulacan police identified the arrested suspects as PMaj. Armando Reyes, 55, assigned at the Hagonoy Police Station; PSSg Anthony Ancheta, 48, detailed at the Malolos City PNP; and PSMS Ronnie Galion, 43, assigned at the Sta. Maria Police Station.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Police said victim Esmeraldo Magbitang Jr., 40, a businessman and a pharmaceutical supplier residing in Bgy. Borol 2nd, Balagtas, Bulacan, informed them that at least seven armed men entered his compound, pretending to ask for financial assistance.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Magbitang said the suspects suddenly pulled out their guns and declared a holdup.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The victim said the armed men went inside his house then took cellphones, bags, gadgets and a still undetermined amount of money before fleeing in a Toyota Avanza with plate no.
