Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. on Monday said peace-building efforts persistently work as six more members of the communist terrorist groups in Central Luzon return to the fold of law.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>According to Hidalgo, on September 13, personnel from the Bataan 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), in coordination with other concerned units, conducted a successful intelligence operation in Abucay town.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>The operation resulted in the surrender, disaffiliation, and withdrawal of support of two female members from the Alyansa ng Magbubukid sa Gitnang Luzon (AMGL)-Bataan and ALMABA (Communist Front Organization), associated with the CPP-NPA-NDF.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;Alias \u201cKa Seniang\u201d and alias \u201cKa Monik\u201d also surrendered a 12-gauge improvised shotgun, signifying their complete break from the CPP-NPA-NDF and commitment to rejoining mainstream society.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>In another significant development on September 18,&nbsp; Olongapo City Mobile Force Company (OCMFC) facilitated the voluntary surrender of two former members of ANAKPAWIS, a known Communist Front Organization.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>The two identified as alias &#8220;Alda&#8221; and &#8220;Ann&#8221; submitted themselves at the OCMFC office, signaling their desire to leave the underground movement.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>On September 19, alias &#8220;Ka Razzy,&#8221; a former member of the CPP-NPA who had spent years with the armed rebel group, also surrendered to OCMFC personnel.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;Ka Razzy&#8221; turned over a firearm and explosive materials, which were then transferred to the Olongapo City Explosives Ordnance and Canine Unit for proper handling and disposal.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>On September 20, personnel of Zambales 1st PMFC&nbsp; supported by various police units, facilitated the surrender of alias &#8220;Paul,&#8221; a former member of the CTG Militiang Bayan.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Alias &#8220;Paul&#8221; surrendered a cal. .38 revolver, along with live ammunition and explosive materials, including detonating cords, time fuses, and blasting caps.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cThese surrenders are a testament to our strengthened intelligence operations and collaboration with the military.
