Gen. Redrico Maranan identified the victims as&nbsp;laborers Rodolfo Tolentino, Michael Lumukso, Eduardo Salomag, and Raffy Felix.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Barangay officer&nbsp; Luis Galves informed the police about the dead bodies of four men inside a tank in an abandoned fish sauce factory in Panghulo in Obando.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Responding lawmen were told by the warehouse caretaker that&nbsp; Tolentino fell while cleaning the concrete tank, with a depth of two meters.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>The caretaker sought the help of other workers&nbsp;Lumukso, Salomag, and Felix, who all fail to rescue&nbsp; the first victim because of suffocation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>The three also were suffocated to death.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Personnel of the Obando Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) immediately conducted rescue and retrieval operation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Police are investigating the incident.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BY KEVIN GALANG FOUR workers on Thursday died from suffocation inside a fermentation tank at an abandoned fish sauce factory in Obando, Bulacan.
