A 51-YEAR-OLD nurse at the Bohol Doctors Hospital died while a utility worker was injured after they were attacked with scissors by a male patient on Thursday morning.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The fatality was identified only as Marie, a resident of Bgy. Dao, Tagbilaran City, Bohol.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Marie succumbed to multiple stab wounds in the neck and chest..<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The injured was utility worker, Francis Justiniare, 21, of Purok 4, Bgy. Cainsican, Inabanga.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Francis was also stabbed by the suspect after he tried to prevent him from further attacking the nurse.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The stabbing occurred at 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2024, inside the medical ward of the Bohol Doctors Hospital in Bgy. Bool, Tagbilaran City.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Suspect, Marlito Linguis, 31, a resident of Purok 4, Bgy. Magsaysay, Sevilla town, surrendered to the police after the incident.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Prior to the attack, the suspect, along with several others, was admitted on Tuesday at the said hospital for food poisoning after eating \u201cdinuguan\u201d at a gathering in Bgy.
