{"id":9440,"date":"2024-10-22T01:04:03","date_gmt":"2024-10-21T17:04:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/journaldailynewsonline.com.ph\/?p=9440"},"modified":"2024-10-22T01:04:04","modified_gmt":"2024-10-21T17:04:04","slug":"fake-nbi-agents-arrested-in-paranaque","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/journaldailynewsonline.com.ph\/index.php\/2024\/10\/22\/fake-nbi-agents-arrested-in-paranaque\/","title":{"rendered":"FAKE NBI AGENTS ARRESTED IN PARA\u00d1AQUE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>POLICE arrested three men posing as agents of the <\/strong><strong>National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in an attempt to extort money from a store in Para\u00f1aque City.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Nabbed were alias \u201cBernard,\u201d 44; alias \u201cJohn,\u201d 29; and alias \u201cLenon,\u201d 24.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Investigation showed the suspects allegedly presented a fake search warrant claiming the store sold illegal tobaccos and cigarettes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>They threatened the store\u2019s cashier and demanded a P100,000 to avoid penalties for selling illegal tobacco products.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Aseana security guards noticed the commotion and intervened.
