PRESIDENT Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. joined the nation in commemorating All Saint\u2019s Day and All Souls\u2019 Day, expressing hope these holidays will \u201crekindle us to be better persons, better Filipinos, and better stewards of our beloved nation.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cI join all Filipino Catholics in the Philippines and around the world in observing All Saints\u2019 Day and All Souls\u2019 Day,\u201d President Marcos said.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cToday, we remember those who paved the way for our present prosperity through their example of faith and love for others,\u201d he added.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n President Marcos said All Souls\u2019 Day is a time for \u201creflection by which we recall the deceased faithful who led lives of honor, sacrifice, and service.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cThis is the opportune moment to fortify our bond for the betterment of our spiritual life, not only with the divine but also with one another,\u201d he said.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The President said All Saints\u2019 Day reminds people to strive toward \u201cvirtues that defined the saints with their extraordinary compassion, kindness, and humility.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n He encouraged Filipinos to spend time with family and loved ones, visit their departed and \u201coffer our heartfelt prayers for them, and express deep gratitude for their impact on our lives.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cMay this remind us of the values that shall endure through us as a nation: faith, resilience, and hope,\u201d the President said.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cReflecting on our journey in this world, let us strive to live with love and compassion for others, ever seeking the common good, just as the saints and our loved ones did in their time,\u201d he added.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" PRESIDENT Ferdinand R.
