PRO4A director Brig. Gen. Paul Kenneth T Lucas and his wife, Mary June T. Lucas, adviser of the PRO 4A Officers Ladies Club, led the Health Caravan program that benefitted more than 100 children.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n With the theme \u201cKalusugan ng Bata, Tungkulin ng Lahat: Gabay Tungo sa Bagong Pilipinas,\u201d the program was hosted by the Regional Medical and Dental Unit 4A headed by Col. Michelle A. Arban.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Children from Grades 1 and 2 were provided essential healthcare services and personal hygiene kits.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Activities included a dental-themed puppet show by students from the Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) College of Dentistry (COD), a simultaneous tooth brushing drill led by OLFU-COD, and a demonstration on proper handwashing techniques. <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The children also participated in a play therapy and listened to a storytelling session, focusing on nutrition and aims at promoting healthy habits from an early age.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Personal hygiene kits were distributed by Lucman Masonic Lodge No. 406.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The school children were also provided with snacks.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Health Caravan supports Lucas\u2019 P.O.W.E.R. program (Protect Our community\u2019s Well-being through Effective services and Response) and reflects PRO Calabarzon\u2019s commitment to promoting health and wellness for children in the community.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" CAMP BRIG.
