{"id":9947,"date":"2024-11-12T00:56:52","date_gmt":"2024-11-11T16:56:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/journaldailynewsonline.com.ph\/?p=9947"},"modified":"2024-11-12T01:01:21","modified_gmt":"2024-11-11T17:01:21","slug":"over-2k-caraga-region-farmers-to-receive-land-titles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/journaldailynewsonline.com.ph\/index.php\/2024\/11\/12\/over-2k-caraga-region-farmers-to-receive-land-titles\/","title":{"rendered":"OVER 2K CARAGA REGION FARMERS TO RECEIVE LAND TITLES"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>THE Department of Agrarian Reform in Caraga region (DAR-13) is set to release 2,690 certificates of land ownership award (CLOAs) to farmer-beneficiaries on Tuesday, Nov. 12, covering approximately 4,077 hectares of agricultural land.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>DAR-13 said the distribution will take place at the provincial capitol grounds in Prosperidad town, Agusan del Sur province.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Some 2,480 agrarian reform beneficiaries from Agusan del Sur and Surigao del Sur will receive their land titles.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>The CLOAs are part of the Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling (SPLIT) project, a joint initiative between the Philippine government and the World Bank.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>The event will be led by DAR Undersecretary Rowena Taduran and DAR-13 Regional Director Merlita Capinpuyan.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>The&nbsp; DAR 13 said &nbsp;2,048 beneficiaries from Agusan del Sur and 432 from Surigao del Sur are set to receive the land titles.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>It added that the distribution of CLOAs is a direct result of the directives from President Ferdinand R.
