SENATORS on Tuesday urged concerned government agencies to create a comprehensive contingency plan to assist undocumented Filipinos in the United States if President-elect Donald Trump opts to implement a large-scale immigration crackdown.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n According to Senate President Pro Tempore Jinggoy Estrada, the government should provide logistical support for eventual repatriation and help returning Filipinos find jobs or other means of livelihood.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n He said instead of sounding alarmist, government officials should focus on creating a comprehensive contingency plan to assist our \u201ckababayans.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cMadaling sabihin, pero mahirap gawin.
