SOME 4,738 village officials from the 33 barangays in Angeles City received hams and rice from their Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr..
The initiative highlighted Lazatin’s way of showing gratitude for the dedication and hardwork of the barangay officials in ensuring the continued progress of Angeles City.
Each village official received a ham and a 5-kilo sack of rice.

“Their efforts are invaluable, and this is a small token of appreciation to let them know how much their service is valued,” Lazatin said.
On behalf of the Angeles City mayor, executive assistant IV Reina Manuel, councilor Arvin Suller, Gender and Development (GAD) Office head Mina Cabiles, Association of Barangay Captains president Kap. Dan Nacu, and former Angeles City Public Cemetery head Philip Samson distributed the Christmas packages.
It has been an annual tradition of Lazatin to distribute ham and rice to the city’s barangay officials during holiday season.
