A MOST wanted man in Bulacan on Friday was arested in Bgy. Sta. Ines, San Miguel, Bulacan.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo, the Bulacan police identified the suspect as 39-year-old alias “Lorenzo,” of Bgy. Pulong Bayabas, San Miguel, Bulacan.
According to police, the suspect is a member of a crime gang and listed as most wanted in the province.
The tracker team of the Provincial Intelligence Unit-Bulacan, together with personnel of the Bulacan 1st and 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Companies, and the San Miguel police, conducted a manhunt operation against the suspect, which resulted in his arrest.
“Lorenzo” was nabbed based on a warrant of arrest for attempted murder issued by the Bulacan court.
Also seized from the suspect was a cal. .22 Colt revolver loaded with eight live bullets.
“Lorenzo” is a suspect in the killing of a barangay kagawad in San Ildefonso, Bulacan last January 27, 2024.
He is now under the custody of the police and will be charged for violation of RA 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act in relation to BP 881 of the Omnibus Election Code.
