CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Four suspects, including a “high-value individual,” on Saturday were arrested while some P2.7 million worth of shabu was seized in entrapment operation in Bacolor, Pampanga
Pampanga Police Director Col. Jay Dimaandal identified the arrested as alias “Jane,” 45, a fish vendor from San Quintin, Pangasinan; alias “Jaime,” 52, a security guard from Quezon City; alias “Jeff,” 44, a motorcycle mechanic from Caloocan City; and alias “Rie,” 39, a tattoo artist from Quezon City.
The operation led by the Pampanga Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU), in coordination with the Provincial Intelligence Unit, the Bacolor police, and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 3 (PDEA R3) seized at least 402 grams of shabu valued at P2,733,600.

Also confiscated in the sting were a cal. .45 pistol with serial number 53487, a magazine with three live rounds, a Colt Trooper MK-III .38 caliber revolver with serial number 850209 loaded with three live rounds, a cellphone, and a gray Hyundai Sonata with plate number TOG 788.
The arrested suspects will be charged with violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (RA 9165) and charges related to the illegal possession of firearms and ammunition, said Dimaandal.
“This accomplishment reflects our commitment to rid Central Luzon of illegal drugs and ensure the safety of our communities,” Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo said.
“The arrest of this HVI and his accomplices sends a strong message that we will not tolerate any activity that undermines the well-being of our people. I commend the teamwork and dedication of our personnel and our partner agencies for this significant achievement,” she added.
