THE Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) said some 3,500 job opportunities will be opened in Croatia for Filipino hotel workers.
According to the DMW, these include the position of hospitality staff, housekeepers, and bartenders.
The initiative is part of a government-to-government agreement designed to create employment prospects for Filipinos overseas.
DMW Undersecretary Patricia Yvonne Caunan said no placement fee will be required.
She said those interested should submit their application form directly to the DMW office.
According to Caunan, Filipino hotel workers in Croatia can look forward to earning over 1,000 euros, which is more than 62,000 pesos each month, along with various benefits offered to employees in the country.
“Our Croatian partners have communicated that they need workers this summer, especially in late April and May. So, expect an announcement from the DMW regarding the hiring process soon,” Caunan added.
