A MERCHANDIZING company on Sunday was robbed of P20 million cash in Paombong, Bulacan.
Bulacan police acting director Col. Franklin Estoro reported to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo that robbed was the Khay Kim General Merchandise located on Jacinto St. in Bgy. Sto. Niño, Paombong owned by Marcelino Trillana, 53.
Probers were told by the company’s secretary that upon entering the office, she saw the place in disarray.
According to the secretary, the vault was forcibly opened and the P20 million company sales inside was missing.
Initial investigation showed the robbers gained entry by scaling the wall and entering through the comfort room window.
Once inside, the suspects destroyed the vault, took the cash then fled.
Police are reviewing the CCTV footage to identify and arrest the suspects.
