CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga —The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) has deployed its Reactionary Standby Support Force (RSSF) to assist communities affected by widespread flooding in Central Luzon brought about by the effects of the southwest monsoon or habagat, tropical storm Dante, and typhoon Emong.
PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr. mobilized personnel from various Police Provincial Offices (PPOs) and City Police Offices (CPOs) to carry out emergency response operations, in coordination with local government units (LGUs), and other concerned agencies.

Peñones said that in Olongapo City, personnel from Station 6 of the Olongapo City Police Station conducted road clearing operations along Manggahan Extension in Bgy. Barretto to restore accessibility and ensure public safety in flood-hit areas.
In Pampanga, the Lubao police carried out similar clearing operations to assist the LGU in their disaster response efforts.
Meanwhile, in Bulacan, personnel from the Pulilan Police Station distributed relief goods to families affected by heavy rains and localized flooding in their area of responsibility.
“These swift and coordinated actions reflect our commitment to deliver responsive public service during times of calamity. PRO3 stands in solidarity with affected communities and will continue to provide support, in coordination with national and local government agencies,” said the Central Luzon top cop.
The RSSF stationed at the PRO3 Regional Headquarters remains on alert for further deployment as needed, ready to augment relief and rescue efforts throughout the region.
